Channel vs Group
Definition
A Telegram channel is a one-to-many broadcast where only admins post and subscribers read, while a group is a many-to-many chat where all members can talk.
Channels suit announcements, newsletters and content distribution — they scale to unlimited subscribers and show post view counts. Only admins (or their bots) publish.
Groups suit community and discussion, where members reply to each other. Many operators run both: a channel for broadcasting and a linked group for conversation and comments.
